592 Lager – Mashramani Edition

Mashramani – often referred to simply as “Mash” – is Guyana’s annual celebration of itself; a festival of culture, typically staged on February 23, Republic Day in Guyana. For the 2019 iteration of the festival – Mash 49 – the Caribbean Beer line wanted a special edition of its Area Code 592 beer.

Building on our experience developing the overall labeling for the full Caribbean Beer line of Area Code beers, we designed a label and poster based around a custom illustration connecting Guyana’s 592 beer to the colours, pageantry, and traditions of Mashramani.

Utilising Guyana’s national colours, the label and poster depict some of the sights and sounds of the festival as tribute to the vibrancy of Guyanese culture and tradition.
