Standard Distributors Limited is well-known as a leading supplier of branded furniture, appliances and electronics. Less well-known, perhaps, are the payment options Standard offers its customers. Among those options is the company’s hire purchase plan, whose brand identity and launch campaign was conceptualised by Saltwater Studios in 2017.
Tasked with giving the MY Terms plan an online visibility boost, we devised the “Give Your Money a Break” advertising campaign. Hire purchase plans – especially those as flexible as Standard’s MY Terms – cleverly tied into the feeling of relief that Hire Purchase offers and packaging this into visuals of money doing more enjoyable things that the primarily female target audience would immediately resonate with – have a spa day, cocktails by the pool, or getting a new hairstyle. Your money, your terms: you get the idea.
